Celebrating (Self) LOVE

We made it through January, AND most of February! Woo! ❄️

Now, it wouldn’t be February if we didn’t discuss the elephant in the room: LOVE 🐘

This month, Yoga Club Paris wants to focus on an underrated and integral expression of this sensation: the love we give ourselves. 🥰

It’s so easy for us to put ourselves down. We compare ourselves to those around us and think, why am I not as flexible as her? Why am I not as strong as him? If only I could achieve the things they’ve achieved.

Our thoughts are flooded with negative self talk: Why aren’t you good enough? Why can’t you be better? Why do you keep failing?

In a second we’re there for the ones that we love, we buy them presents and give our energy to them and make time and space for them. 💖

Now is the moment to make time and space for YOURSELF. 💝

What if, just WHAT IF, you turned that critical thought into a positive one? Man, my hair looks great today. I’m proud of myself for sending that difficult email. I’m strong, and worthy, and surrounded by love. 💅

And what if, just WHAT IF, you did something FOR YOURSELF this month !? Maybe that’s gifting yourself an extra pilates class this week, or saying no to someone’s invitation, or carving time out of “productivity” to do something you simply love to do. 🧘‍♀️

Or PERHAPS, you show yourself some love by splurging on that yoga retreat you’ve always wanted to attend. ✈️
